Only the big toe has two phalanges: proximal and distal. In the V toe, the middle and distal phalanges are often fused. In the area of the metatarsophalangeal joints of the I, II and V toes, sesamoid bones can be found, occurring permanently in some places. Paliczki (stopy) - palce II-V mają po trzy paliczki: bliższy, środkowy i dalszy. Jedynie paluch posiada dwa paliczki: bliższy i dalszy.
